My name is Margaret Raven and I really want to show you my art of oil paintings. Meadows, poppies, camomile, landscapes that what I love to paint.
I love to paint and have been doing it for 30 years. I was born in Poland in 1962. My talent has developed unnoticed since childhood. My photos have evolved with me. I tried many jobs and professions until I discovered that painting is the only job I really love. 30 years have passed since then. and i still do just that. This passion guides me through life.
I made many watercolors depicting my hometown in Poland – Mielec. In the years 1995-1997, two watercolor albums were published. I love the oil painting technique the most. I changed the colors of my works, taking up more and more difficult topics, searching and experimenting. When in 2003 I bought a meadow near the city, my painting exploded. I really don’t know how it could have happened, but the meadow work I took from the easel blossomed like my real meadow – a new one every day. I fell in love with my meadow, which I saw at sunrise, in the rain, in the fog, in the morning and in the evening, and at any time of the year… I paint this meadow to this day. This is the main topic of my work.
When I paint, I move to another world. The peace that I feel and the joy that I use to create compositions with paints. It’s strange and beautiful because I can share this joy with anyone who sees my photos. The archive of my work on pinterest contains several thousand photos. I lived in Manchester for some time, but I returned to Poland where I find my inspiration.
